Med bakgrunn fra skulptur arbeider Guri Guri Henriksen hovedsaklig med forgjengelige materialer. I tidligere installasjoner brukte hun mye tid på bevaring av materialene; nedfrysing, fotgrafi etc. For henne er video først og fremst en form for konservering.
