DSV Artist bank

The DSV network "artist bank" is a database with profiles of world artists from all art disciplines, with multicultural background and/or experience.

The profiles contain CV, contact data, photos and additional information, as well as references and links to the individual artist web site.

The aim of the artist bank is promotion and visualisation of world artists, providing a broad source of world artists to producers, curators, organisers, audience, research and education.

In the selection of an artist's relevance to the artist bank, DSV has chosen to consider certain criterias like multicultural relation, education and experience, CV and references. DSV does not guarantee the artist's qualifications and qualities. The information is provided by the artists themselves. Users are encouraged to check references, and DSV provides recommenations in the cases where we know the artist from project cooperation.

The artist bank is subject to constant development. For the time being, Norway based artists dominate the data base. The number of artists based abroad will increase.

DSV is associated partner in the European artist bank culturebase.net. Our own artist bank is an individual project initiated before Culturebase, and which will be developed while awaiting the progress and development of Culturebase.
